Keyrus Life Science is looking for a Clinical Site Leader who will be in charge of site relationships as well as accountable for safeguarding the quality and patient safety at the investigator sites.

You will be responsible for site monitoring, oversight, building and retaining relationships from site activation through the lifecycle of studies. In this sense you will act as the main point of contact for all site- and study-level questions, liaising with and escalating to appropriate teams to respond and resolve questions. You will lead effective site recruitment planning and implementation of plans at the country- and site-level, consistent with global plan and local targets.

As part of the oversight responsibilities, you will utilize and interpret data from analytic tools, in conjunction with country and regional intelligence and proactively identify risks to quality and compliance. In this sense, you will need to develop and implement mitigation plans to address these risks. You will be accountable for identifying CRA performance issues and are responsible for ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are put in place.

As an Clinical Site Leader, you proactively collaborate and provide local intelligence to country outreach surveys, targeted sites strategies, study design and pipeline opportunities. You are accountable for study start-up, activation, and execution to the plan for targeted sites. You are the leader of the start-up activities, which includes managing the issues that may compromise time to site activation. You will not only lead but also closely monitor and support the study start-up activities including reviewing the key documents (e.g., local Informed Consent Document template), to address regulatory and/or ethics committee questions for targeted sites.


You have a scientific or technical degree in the healthcare area and an extensive knowledge of the clinical trial methodology. You have minimum 7 years of clinical research experience and/or clinical quality management experience. Based on your previous experience, you can demonstrate your ability to lead and to influence for delivery. You have a solid knowledge of the clinical development processes with a strong emphasis on monitoring. You are familiar with clinical quality and regulatory requirements applicable in Belgium.

You have a “can-do” attitude and have the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal & external stakeholders. You can easily adapt to changing technologies and processes and have an analytical mindset in order to evaluate, interpret and present complex issues and data to support assessment and mitigation of site risks.

 This position requires to travel regularly within the country. You will coordinate with institutions and investigators, and CRO at site/local level.
