Clinical Drug Delivery Devices Lead
About the role
Keyrus Life Sciences is seeking a profile with technical expertise in medical devices used in clinical trials, particularly injection systems (syringes, pumps, needle sets). The person will work closely with clinical teams and clinical sites to support the selection and management of devices used in clinical studies across all phases.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert support to clinical teams and sites in selecting drug delivery devices for use in clinical trials (Phases I–IV).
- Analyze and validate technical specifications (needle size, tubing length, flow rate, etc.) and ensure compatibility with drug products.
- Support change requests from clinical sites, such as changes due to device unavailability in certain countries or activation of new sites.
- Ensure documentation and tracking of decisions and changes related to medical devices used.
- Act as the technical point of contact for all device-related questions during the clinical trial lifecycle.
Must-Have
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience with injection systems (syringes, pumps, etc.) in a clinical or technical context.
- Master’s degree preferred, but strong experience may compensate.
- Strong autonomy and reactivity.
- Ability to analyze technical characteristics and assess compatibility with drug products.
- Fluent in English.
- Full-time availability (part-time not accepted).
- Background in clinical operations where the candidate participated in device selection.
- QA or regulatory knowledge, if paired with technical know-how.
- Based in Belgium.
- Remote work possible for excellent candidates, but must be based in Europe (not outside Europe).
- Occasional travel may be required for team meetings.
