The Distribution Expert is responsible for supporting the Distribution Subject Matter Expert (SME) in his/her role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Distribution processes and operations follow cGDP

• Ensure that Distribution processes and operations are efficient
• Ensure visibility is given on issue escalation and ongoing remediation

• Manage issues relative to Distribution of ongoing clinical study

• Support the set-up of Distribution process flow (use of local depot, timing for cross border, specificity of importation, etc.)
• Interact with stakeholders on Distribution topics (Quality, Supply Managers, Asset Managers, Planning, etc.)
• Proactive view on critical risks mitigation action definition
• Support continuous improvement projects including Third-Party’s and internal stakeholders in order to strengthen the Distribution operations.

Educational background

Minimum/Preferred Level of Education:

• University scientific degree or equivalent background
• Area of Specialization: Science/Healthcare, cGDP and Supply Chain
• Need of a good background of Distribution and/or Supply Chain

Job-Related Experience

Level of Job-Related Experience required

• 5 years of experience in Clinical Study Supply Chain and/or GMP environment and/or Distribution

• The Distribution Expert needs to have a clear view and understanding on the Distribution for Clinical Study

• Relevant Distribution operations experience
• Languages: English proficiency required (verbal and written), French is an asset but not required
• Problem-solving skills
