Business Lead in Clinical Programming Transformation Initiative
Job Description:
- Clinical Programming is transforming the way it works now that it has a single platform and process. This modernization will leverage open source technologies, agile ways of working and ensure that we maximize the value of the clinical data.
- This role will require enhanced capabilities in the delivery of an organizational change project based on agile mindset and principles.
- The purpose of this Business Lead role is to provide global leadership for the Clinical Programming Transformation Initiative over the next 18-24 months.
- The Business Lead will need to be accountable for design and delivery of a program of work where the resources responsible for delivery are situated across a matrixed organization.
- They will need to work with key internal and external stakeholders to design, plan and track implementation and delivery.
- Great leadership is required in order to deliver serial step-changes in added value and operational excellence.
- The Business Lead must be an influential, strategic and innovative leader with broad knowledge of the complexities of the clinical reporting process and platform as well as strong knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Success will be accomplished by working with key stakeholders and project team members to deliver the expected outcomes.
- They will partner with the leaders across Biostatistics to ensure alignment and engagement at all levels of the organization
Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in delivery of matrix change programs in Project/Program Management roles (using Agile. Scrum, SAFE, and distributed delivery models).
- Agile Coach / Management consulting experience with teams that are new to Agile practices.
- Must have strong presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to present a message clearly and succinctly to business stakeholders, product leaders and team members.
- Proven success leading large Agile transformations.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional product teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
- Strategic thinker and detail oriented.
- • A solid understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory and publishing processes (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11).
• Business Acumen - understands implications of decisions from a broad business perspective and uses this knowledge to influence decision-making across higher levels of R&D.
• Proven ability to deliver to demanding deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality.
• Proven ability to develop skills and capabilities, with demonstrated leadership in the application of innovative approaches with directorate-level impact. - Works with peers to move the Programming community to a leadership position in the industry.
It's a plus:
- Certified Agile Coach.
- Certified Scrum Master.
